Their musical repertoire is wide—ranging from traditional English folk music to American Barbershop, Negro Spirituals and modern pop song arrangements. The group recently commissioned a work from John Joubert, with a first performance in Birmingham Cathedral in September 1987.

	The Royal Oak Hotel was, in it's day, one of two beautiful hotels in the town, with bars, a restaurant and function rooms. One particularly grand room, ~~I believe upstairs~~, was known as the Regency Room and used for smaller talks, such as [[Collecting Contemporary Art (1988)\|Collecting Contemporary Art]].		The Royal Oak Hotel was, in it's day, one of two beautiful hotels in the town, with bars, a restaurant and function rooms.

			One particularly grand room, just at the top of the first stairway, was known as the Regency Room and used for smaller talks, such as [[Collecting Contemporary Art (1988)\|Collecting Contemporary Art]].

			Outside, adjoining the hotel, is a newer building known as The Ballroom. This was used for dances and larger events, including a [[Film Evening (1988)\|Film Evening]] during [[Leominster Festival 1988]].

	Born in Copenhagen, Miss Petri began playing the recorder at the age of three and was first heard on Danish Radio when she was five. Her debut as concerto soloist took place at the Tivoli in 1969, the year in which she began her studies at the Hochschule für Musik in Hanover. ==Programme Biography==
Hanne was born in Copenhagen in 1929. She studied at the Copenhagen Music Conservatorium and later in Vienna with Bruno Seidlhofer. She gave her first concert in 1954 and has given many concerts in Scandanavia and Austria. She has a great interest in contemporary music and has a piano concerto dedicated to her by Henning Christiansen and many other works written for her.

Since 1970 she has concentrated on playing the harpsichord and has been her daughter’s regular recital partner since then, playing with her all over the world and on recordings for Philips and R.C.A. Red Seal.
