When describing an event, the following convention should be used:
Introduction should be italicised
Event Title should bold and linked
Trailing information should also be italicised
In addition:
- Each line should be terminated with < br> rather than a double CR
- Where a group performs over multiple years, the title of the show should be the 'event' (for example, Leominster Drama Group plays)
- Except where the name of the performer is the event itself (for example, Birmingham Philharmonic Orchestra)
- The event page should have the year in brackets as a suffix, but the unbracketed name should be displayed - this makes the events clearer in lists and solves the problem of events having the same name over multiple years or the same name as the artist.
Guidance on content:
- Dates should be 5th March in full.
- Times should use a full stop, not a colon, and always include the minutes - 7.00pm.
