Once again, the Birmingham Philharmonic Orchestra returned to Leominster Festival in what has now become a firm fixture in the events. Once again, the conductor is Kenneth Page and this year they performed Overture Leonora No. 2 by Beethoven, En Saga by Sibelius, Sarka from Ma Vlast by Smetana and the Violin Concerto by Elgar.
Kenneth Page also featured as the soloist.
In advance of the performance, Said Evensong was at 6.00pm.
