The Passamezzo Early Dance Group was founded around 1981 and gives performances in costumes created by Janet Milner based on historic examples.
They performed dances of the 16th century in Leominster Festival 1984 alongside The Consort of Songe when they were directed by Sheila Parret. They returned the following festival, in 1986, to perform as part of the event Song and Dance at the Court of Elizabeth I.
