The Lucas Wind Ensemble performed as part of Leominster Festival 1986 at Dilwyn Parish Church. Their programme included pieces from Rossinni, Mozart and Strauss.
Their leader and conductor is Derek Lucas after whom they are named.
According to Discogs, they are an Epsom, Surrey based, instrumental, non-profit wind ensemble of 22 musicians formed at the end of the 70's. They have recorded at least eight records. [1]
