The New Delta Jazz Band performed at Leominster Festival in it's first year, 1980 where they were joined by Roy Williams and Digby Fairweather.
An excerpt from Leominster Festival programme of 1980:
Roy Williams and Digby Fairweather are two of our foremost Jazz musicians. Roy Williams, considered by some critics to be the best jazz trombonist in Europe, currently plays with the Humphrey Lyttelton Band. Digby Fairweather, leading jazz trumpet player, joins Roy as front line to the New Delta Jazz Band.
