The Talbot Hotel was, in it's day, a prestigious hotel in the town offering a large ballroom which could be used for performances or talks equally well.
Unfortunately, like The Royal Oak, it is now closed to visitors and has fallen into some disrepair, though there is hope that it may one day open it's doors again.
