Late Night Cabaret

Mrs. and Mr. Liewellyn (featuring the astounding Bunk Dogger)

Mrs. and Mr. Llewellyn (featuring the astonishing Bunk Dogger) are a close harmony trio specialising in singing songs. Also they play musical instruments, mostly guitars, when they have remembered to pack them.

Mrs. Llewellyn brings to the ensemble songs of her native Canada, and an encyclopaedic knowledge of U.S. cigarette ad jingles of the 1950s.

Mr. Llewellyn, author of The Worst Journey in the Midlands and other volumes, specialises in guitar stylings of subtle violence. He has written many of the group’s songs, some of which have been on TV. Occasionally he wears leather trousers.

The amazing Bunk Dogger, a retired rock ‘n roll artiste, and progenitor of many a long playing record, is the musical brains of the group. He knows what it is to be a star (though not as well as Dame Enid (see below)). Note his moustache and his Rothmans Tenor.

Mrs. and Mr. Llewellyn (featuring the never sufficiently to be overvalued Bunk Dogger) have been compared favourably with the Andrews Sisters and a poke in the eye with a burnt stick.

Special guest, fresh from her triumphs in the Welsh National Opera’s Rigoletto and Henley Regatta’s Coxless Fours and so far over the top as to be practically invisible:
