Tommy Burton is a consumate entertainer and jazz pianist, often called Britain's answer to Fats Waller. His career spanned 50 years and in the 1970s he played festivals the length of the United Kingdom, including Leominster Festival in 1984. He also made numerous appearances on the Pebble Mill at 1 show on the BBC.

His performance included humourous jokes and tales, often of a very adult nature, and he frequently performed while puffing on a cigar and swigging on a pint of ale.

TOMMY BURTON is much in demand as a pianist and entertainer. He has perfected an act that has them rolling in the aisles, in pubs, clubs and halls, not only in Birmingham and the Black Country, but in legendary jazz establishments in London. He has also made many appearances on BBC’s Pebble Mill at 1.
