In 1988, Cilla Fisher was married to Artie Tresize and, between them, they performed both as themselves and as part of The Singing Kettle for children.
Programme Biography
Cilla Fisher is the youngest member of the well known Fisher Family of Scottish folksingers. Together with her brother and sister they have greatly influenced the trend of Scottish traditional and contemporary folk music in recent years.
Cilla and Artie, always in great demand, play to packed houses the entire length and breadth of the British Isles and also abroad. Overseas tours have taken them to Australia, Canada, Holland, Ireland, Bermuda, Germany as well as guesting at the first ever Hong Kong Folk Festival. It was a great accolade for them to represent the U.K. as B.B.C. artists at the European Broadcasting Festival in Finland a few years ago.
