In 1982, Anthony Hughes and Juliana Hughes devised and performed an evening of entertainment which was entitled Excursions. Additional material was provided and performed by Julian Robbins, Ann Malpas and Martyn Moxley. It is assumed that the performance included singing, music, spoken word and poetry.
In 1986, Julian returned with John Howell to perform |An Evening of Words and Music (1986) at Dinmore Manor.
Programme Biography (1986)
Julian Robbins plays a variety of instruments including violin, viola and guitar and is well-known as a singer throughout the West Midlands. He played the viola with the National Youth Orchestra as a boy and has appeared with many singing groups, including The King’s Singers.
