Programme Biography
Pinsley Little Theatre (formerly Leominster Arts Club Drama Group) has been in existence for some years [in 1986]. They perform a wide variety of all types of theatre, from the Old Tyme Music Hall, to plays and revues. They have had some success at the Herefordshire Drama Festival held at the New Hereford Theatre, having won the best original manuscript award for two years running and this year also Mr. Roy Earnshaw, who is a local policeman, won joint best performance in the Festival. Their material is mostly original, the main writers being Coral Earnshaw who also writes the plays and Iris Chance. The latter half of the year is spent taking revues around the Friendship clubs in the area, and also to WI. Groups and Senior Citizens homes. They are all locals, or from Hereford and all have a wide variety of jobs including solicitors, building society cashiers, secretaries, shop assistants, school workers and engineers, and a retired guest house landlady, not forgetting the town “bobby”, and a student.
