Telford Chamber Orchestra performed alongside Leominster Choral Society in The Priory Church in 1984 to present The Creation by J Haydn.
Although listed in the programme as Telform Chamber Orchestra, I believe the orchestra is now known as simply The Telford Orchestra. Originally formed in 1862 as St Georges and District Orchestral Society, it is now over 150 years old. After the new town of Telford was formed in 1963, the orchestra changed its name to Telford Light Orchestra and then simply to Telford Orchestra.
