Richard performed at Leominster Festival 1986 accompanied by Raphael Terroni on piano. I am assuming he was singing as part of his performance, though he is better known as a broadcaster and newsreader.
Programme Biography (1986)
Richard Baker was born in Willesden in North London and was educated at Kilburn Grammar School and Peterhouse Cambridge where he studied history and modern languages. Richard served in the Royal Navy and worked as a teacher and an actor before joining the BBC as an announcer in 1950. He became well known as a TV newsreader but has also taken part in many other Radio and TV programmes, such as “Start the week with Richard Baker”, “Face the Music”, “Omnibus” and presented many other Musical Programmes. In his concert work Richard Baker prefers works which require a narrator and enjoys giving concerts in partnership with other artists.
